Wellstam named as Swegon CEO

SWEDEN: Andreas Örje Wellstam will take over from Hannu Saastamoinen as CEO of Swegon from September 1. 

Wellstam joined Swegon in 2012 and has since held multiple executive positions, including CFO and vice president business areas commercial. Prior to joining Swegon, he was business development director at owners Investment AB Latour.

Sweden says that Hannu Saastamoinen will re-locate to his native Finland, but he will remain within the Latour sphere, both as a board member for Bemsiq Group and as strategic project advisor.

Commenting on the appointment, Jan Hjertonsson, Swegon chairman and CEO of Latour, said: “Andreas possesses all the qualities that has been on our list of requirements during the recruitment process. He is a respected and appreciated leader with a strong drive to build successful companies in an international environment, with a visionary approach and a strong focus on growth.”
