GERMANY: Motor and fan manufacturer Ziehl-Abegg claims to have achieved a revenue growth of 12% in 2025, exceeding €1bn for the first time in the company’s 116-year history.
The preliminary business figures for 2025 reflects strong international business in the USA and China.
The company’s global headcount also increased from 5,300 to 5,800 employees during the same period.
Commenting on the figures, Ziehl-Abegg CEO Joachim Ley said: “2025 was not an easy year. Exchange rates, tariffs and geopolitical uncertainties put many markets under pressure. That makes this result all the more impressive.”
The USA is now Ziehl-Abegg’s most important foreign market, accounting for well over 20% of total revenue. Its €100m investment in a new plant in North Carolina strengthened its local presence and delivery capability across the North American market.
