Coolair lands £300,000 office deal

UK: Coolair Equipment has secured a contract worth more than £300,000 to install an air conditioning system with heat recovery at a new landmark office development in Gloucester.

The system selected will provide simultaneous heating and cooling to different areas of the building forming the new apex of Gloucester Business Park at Brockworth.

The commission from M&E building services contractor Spie UK is aimed at creating a three-storey building with the highest standards of comfort for its occupants. The new 75,000ft² premises, set to provide an imposing location on Delta Way, will include a reception area, meeting room and boardroom, and both open-plan and closed-plan office areas.

Coolair Equipment will equip the building with an Hitachi IVX VRF system combined with Daikin DX condensers to serve the building’s AHUs. The VRF systems will supply ceiling void ducted fan coil units.

Coolair starts work this month with completion scheduled for early 2020.
