ArmaFlex adhesive offers sustainable bond

LUXEMBOURG: Armacell’s new ArmaFlex ECO550 adhesives are designed to enhance the efficiency, safety and sustainability of ArmaFlex insulation applications.

ArmaFlex ECO550 adhesives are said to deliver exceptional performance, requiring only one-third of the quantity compared to conventional adhesives, achieving the same high-quality results.

It is claimed to provide a one-stop solution for all NBR/PVC and black ArmaPrene ArmaFlex insulation, with the new ArmaFlex Ultima ECO550 ensuring reliable bonding for premium applications. By applying the optional ArmaFlex ECO550 Activator, installers can also benefit from reduced airing times and immediate bonding.

Being water-based, these products eliminate risks associated with solvents and unpleasant smells. Plus, according to Armacell, this adhesives align with environmental certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, and DGNB, promoting sustainable practices in modern construction.

ArmaFlex ECO550 adhesives require no hazardous materials declarations and are said to be easy to store and transport. Once cured, adhesive can be easily removed with a metal brush, making it a practical and user-friendly choice.
