Bitzer Ecolite now on A2L refrigerants

GERMANY: Bitzer has announced a new version of its Ecolite condensing unit for A2L refrigerants.
Available now, the Ecolite 2.0 includes the approval for the A2L refrigerants R1234ze, R1234yf, R455A and R454C, and new functions inside the controller. The first field test units of the Ecolite 2.0 have already been shipped and commissioned, Bitzer says.
Ecolite condensing units are available for a wide range of applications from 1.5 kW to 5 kW in the freezing range and from 3.5 kW to 16 kW in the normal refrigeration range.
Its plug-and-play concept, easy accessibility to components, and commissioning via the user-friendly controller is said to enable quick and easy installation for all Ecolite models.
