Emerson’s comprehensive offering

emerson-chillventa-stand

CHILLVENTA 2016 PREVIEW: Emerson Climate Technologies says it will present a comprehensive offering of integrated solutions for refrigeration and comfort applications.

This will include its fully-developed solution offerings for all relevant refrigerants integrating Copeland compressors to Emerson valves and Dixell controllers, completed by energy management and monitoring concepts from Emerson Retail Solutions.

Emerson’s R744 solution offering consists of compressors with semi-hermetic reciprocating and scroll technologies, on-board compressor electronics, digital capacity modulation and is completed by flow controls and electronic controllers.

For the refrigeration unit segment the offering will be extended with the launch of the new R744 refrigeration unit.

For R290 refrigeration, Emersons offer full solutions integrating Copeland compressors – with fixed and variable speed technology – to Emerson valves and Dixell controllers for multiple applications including limited charge systems (<150g), large integrated display cases and chiller applications for medium and low temperature.

Completing its low GWP refrigerant options, Emerson will display solutions with HFO blends/ A2L refrigerants for small and large applications, equipped with technologies such as intelligent monitoring or digital modulation for an efficient and reliable system operation. Depending on the application the customer has the choice of compression technology: scroll or reciprocating.

In the comfort segment we will present solutions for residential heating with R290 and for commercial cooling with alternative refrigerants – R32 and other low GWP alternatives. The Emerson solutions comprise of Copeland Scroll variable speed compressors with Emerson-qualified motor control drives, valves and controllers for intelligent control management.

For refrigeration applications Emerson presents its ZX condensing units – certified by Asercom for its ERP compliance and readiness for Ecodesign Lot1 and equipped with ZX Cloud monitoring system. This monitoring module displays the operating status of the refrigeration system and helps operators to understand and analyse the system’s behaviour.

Copeland Scroll compressors with CoreSense technology as well as modulation technology are also combined with Emerson valves and Dixell controls to create smart solutions for efficient compressor and controls management.

Emerson Climate Technologies, with its product brands such as Copeland, Dixell and Alco Controls, are part of the Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions division. Other companies in the division – Ridgid, Patrol and Therm-O-Disc – will also have a presence.

Ridgid is a well-known manufacturer of tools and equipment, ranging from the original Ridgid pipe wrench to multiple purpose pipe, tubing and cable tools for joining, cutting, bending of copper, steel, stainless steel, PEX and multilayer tubing, as well as video inspection, diagnostics, and locating equipment.

Pactrol is a global supplier of gas ignition controls for most industrial, commercial and domestic applications.

Therm-O-Disc is as a global leader in the design, innovation and manufacture of temperature sensors and controls serving the HVACR, transportation, consumer products, oil and gas, and power and environment industries with a broad range of sensing capabilities and solutions.
