R515B added to Bitzer selection software
21st October 2020GERMANY: Compressor manufacturer Bitzer has added the new lower GWP refrigerant R515B to its selection software.
The German manufacturer recently listed R515B, an alternative to R134a, as suitable for use with its CSH series screw compressors.
The Bitzer software enables customers to calculate the performance data for most of the company’s products with the most diverse refrigerants and access technical information.
R515B is a non-flammable A1 alternative to R134a and R1234ze(E) with a GWP of 293. A blend of R1234ze (91.1%) and R227ea (8.9%), it is said to have zero glide and low discharge temperatures with an efficiency to match R134a.
The Bitzer software is available for use online or as a direct download for use offline.
