Seeley debuts its indirect evaporative cooler
26th January 2026
ITALY: Australian manufacturer Seeley International is to display, for the first time in Europe, its indirect evaporative cooling system Climate Wizard CW80 at Mostra Convegno in Milan.
Built around the company’s proprietary Multi-Cycle Core, the CW80 is said to achieve temperatures comparable to refrigerated systems while delivering up to 80% energy savings.
The Multi-Cycle Core uses a series of heat exchange stages to indirectly evaporate water in a separate air stream, transferring cooling energy without adding moisture to the supply air.
The unit can operate at static pressure up to 820Pa, high airflow and filtration capability make it suitable for complex ducted installations and large industrial spaces.
For instance, the unit can deliver airflow rates as high as 30,600m3/h at 270Pa, consuming 14kW of power and offering a cooling capacity of up to 234kW. It achieves refrigeration-like supply temperatures using only water as the refrigerant.
Successful worldwide installations include a brewery company in Mexico where 12 Climate Wizard CW80 units are delivering a combined 1,182kW of cooling to maintain optimal conditions in the engine room area spanning 2,787m2.
Another notable project is the installation at 150 Greenfell office in Adelaide, which transformed two outdated office buildings into Adelaide’s first carbon neutral certified office. Two CW80 units were installed as part of a pre-cooling system integrated with the building management system. The system delivers up to 44,640m3/h of pre-cooled outside air at 20°C to over 9,300m2 of office space.
Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) takes place at the Fiera Milano in Milan from 24 to 27 March.
