Entries invited for lower GWP award

USA: Entries are invited for this year’s Lower GWP Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Innovation Award for projects in developing countries that reduce GWP through RAC management.

The award, organised by ASHRAE and UNEP OzonAction, seeks to promote inventive design and practice by recognising the implementation of new technological concepts in developing countries that use lower GWP refrigerants.

Awards are presented to individuals working alone or in teams in two categories: residential applications and commercial/industrial facility.

Projects will be selected based on the innovation in transforming conventional concepts, technical replicability to developing countries, extent of need, economic feasibility and energy efficiency.

Entries for the 2024 awards are being accepted until August 15, 2024. There is no cost to enter. Further details here.
