ACR Show changes name

HVACR-logoUK: The ACR Show is to change its name to The HVAC & Refrigeration Show for 2018.

Launched in 2012 following the demise of the former RAC Show, the ACR Show was the only UK exhibition dedicated to the UK air conditioning and refrigeration industry.

In an effort to increase attendances, this year’s show at the NEC in February was expanded to include heating and ventilating technologies and heat pumps. Despite this, very few h&v companies were eventually represented.

Datateam confirmed the change of name but not the likely dates or venue for the next show in 2018.

A spokesperson described the change as an evolution rather than a complete change. Seeing potential for growth, the name change is said to reflect feedback from the heating and ventilating industry.
