Adande pipped by Rolls Royce

UK: Commercial refrigeration cabinet manufacturer Adande was a highly-commended runner-up to Rolls Royce in the recent Insider Media Made in the UK Awards.
A nationwide competition, Lowestoft-based Adande had previously won the East and Central England Award in the Innovation Manufacturing category to go through to the final at St George’s Hall in Liverpool on July 9.
“Coming runner up to a world class company like Rolls Royce is no mean feat, and the quality of the association is something our company can be proud to shout about,” said Adande’s chairman, Nigel Bell. “You could say taking a ‘back seat’ to Rolls Royce is no rough ride,” he quipped.
The Insider Media Made in the UK Awards are designed to celebrate the very best in the UK manufacturing industry and are held in association with UK Trade & Investment.
