Allcool latest to join Nordic Climate Group

UK: The Swedish contractor group Nordic Climate has further expanded its UK organisation with the acquisition of Allcool (NW).

Today’s announcement follows just 24 hours after news of Nordic Climate’s purchase of Glasgow contractor TRS.

Founded as a family-run business in 1977, Allcool is a well-established refrigeration, air conditioning and service company based in Poulton-le-Fylde near Blackpool.

Commenting on Allcool’s established reputation, Nordic Climate Group’s president and group CEO, Fredrik Gren, said: “Their strong roots in the community and their reputation for getting the job done the right way make them an excellent fit for how we grow.”

He emphasised Nordic Climate’s belief that the best results were achieved by letting local companies remain as they are, while giving them access to shared expertise and tools.

Allcool will continue operating under its own name and from its current site. MD Paul Talarczyk, whose father was one of the two original founders of the company, will continue to lead the business together with his wife Jodie and team.
