Andrews boosts Fast Chill hire fleet

Andrews-Fast-ChillUK: Andrews Chiller Hire has increased its fleet of temporary chillers for the catering, food and drinks industries.

The company has increased its stock of FC90 Fast Chill models to more than 50 and offering a four-hour response from its 25 nationwide depots.

The Fast Chill range was introduced by Andrews Chiller Hire to provide a fast response for occasions when in-house cooling plant is taken off line for routine maintenance or emergency repair. The FC90 is said to be ideal for applications such as large-volume air conditioning (planned or emergency), low-temperature production facilities and cold stores or food storage at temporary events.

A simple plug and play unit, requiring only a three-phase power supply. It delivers up to 10,000m3 of cooled air flow and can cool to -10ºC.

The FC90 is a two-part system, the self-contained, split-line fluid chiller incorporates compressors, evaporators and an external heat exchanger, each part supported in a sturdy crash frame that protects and helps positioning on site. The crash frame also acts as a structural support that enables units to be stacked.
