UK: Hereford-based innovative refrigeration systems manufacturer Arctic Circle received a royal visit from the Duke of Kent last week.

The Duke toured the company’s manufacturing facility on the Rotherwas Industrial Estate and chatted with workers.

Managing director Debbie Gittoes said “The visit was welcomed by us all. HRH was keen to see our manufacturing operation and was very surprised by the size of the equipment being produced – all by hand.”

At the culmination of the visit staff gathered to watch as HRH unveiled a plaque to commemorate the occasion.

Arctic Circle, which celebrates its thirtieth anniversary next month, has established a reputation for innovative refrigeration solutions and as company that invests in apprenticeships and training.
