ASHRAE president to open Scotland section

UK: ASHRAE president Tim Wentz will formally inaugurate the new ASHRAE Scotland Section in Glasgow next month.
The establishment of the section follows official approval at the ASHRAE Winter Conference in Las Vegas at the end of January and subsequent receipt of the ASHRAE Charter.
The event at Strathclyde University will include an explanation by ASHRAE director at large Dr Tom Lawrence on the society’s worldwide expansion and a talk on the smart grid and smart buildings.
