B&ES Yorkshire donates £3000 to BHF

UK: The Yorkshire Region of B&ES has made a £3,000 donation to the British Heart Foundation.

The money was raised during the annual ball and training awards event organised by the the Building & Engineering Services Association’s Yorkshire Region, in partnership with training provider Building Engineering Services Training, at the Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford.

The donation, which was made to the charity’s Yorkshire Heart Centre, will go towards the £23,000 required to purchase a 2D echocardiograph for use at Leeds General Infirmary.

“We are delighted to be working with the BHF, and intend to raise as much cash as possible on its behalf,” said B&ES Yorkshire regional chairman Daniel Ball, of Imtech Engineering Services, based in Ossett, West Yorkshire.
