UK: The North West Region of the contractors’ group BESA has raised £3,000 for the Merseyside-based Isabella Rose Foundation.

The money raised at the North West Region’s Annual Ball and Training Awards was presented to the charity by BESA NW chairman Peter Williams of Crown House Technologies.

The Isabella Rose Foundation works directly with families who suffer the heartbreak of losing a child through stillbirth along with families who have a child born prematurely.

“To receive an amount such as this from BESA is a fantastic result,” said charity trustee and lead event organiser David Pope – adding that the BESA donation would help provide funds and equipment for the local maternity hospital Whiston Hospital and supported baby charities Tommy’s and Bliss.
