UK: BESA has raised £2,000 for the charity Support and Care after Road Death and Injury (SCARD).

The money was the result of a raffle held at BESA (Building Engineering Services Association) Yorkshire Region’s Annual Ball in Harrogate.

SCARD relies on fundraising to finance the many services it offers, with practical, emotional and legal advice and assistance being provided to individuals affected by road deaths in the UK.

“The BESA Yorkshire region and the many companies supporting our event were delighted to be able to assist in the valuable work undertaken by SCARD,” said BESA Yorkshire chairman Andrew Hudson.
