Celia completes customer service double
UK: Celia Dickinson of Toshiba UK picked up her second award in six months after being named Customer Service (Individual) of the Year in last night’s ACR News Awards.
As Toshiba UK’s operations support manager, Celia was picked for the award in a special ACR News readers’ poll. It follows up her success of being presented with the same accolade at the HVR Awards in October.
With Celia winning the vote for customer service individual, it was Fujitsu who this year won the team award.
In a night of triumph for women in the industry, Jackie Winterton of Foster Refrigerator was named Unsung Hero of the Year. Jackie, who is a member of Foster’s customer action team, recently celebrated 40 years with the Kings-Lynn-based refrigeration manufacturer.
Other personal accolades at this year’s event at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London saw Alan Green, technical consultant at Trox, win the Alan Moor Award, Dan Lapworth of Cooltherm named Apprentice of the Year and Gary Dowsett of Stonegrove Refrigeration Services winning Service Engineer of the Year.
It was a night of double success for Stonegrove: in addition to Gary Dowsett’s success the Essex-based company was also named Contractor of the Year.
