Clade partners on heat as a service

UK: Heat pump manufacturer Clade Engineering has partnered with smart energy technology solutions company Plug Me In to launch a heat-as-a-service solution for sustainable heating systems.

With a focus on decarbonisation and energy security, heat as a service covers the initial upfront capital investment, installation and ongoing service and maintenance, making the transition to green energy more accessible.

Plug Me In will cover the upfront capital costs, while Clade will custom-design and install a commercial-scale “natural” refrigerant heat pump and heating system tailored to a client’s specific requirements.

The scheme, which also includes system performance guarantees, will allow clients to spread the entire cost over 15 years.
