UK: Employees from Pipe Center and Climate Center are to take part in the Yukon River Quest – one of the top 10 toughest races in the world.

Ben Castle, Seb Fleet, Robbie Williams and Brian Gillett (pictured above) from Pipe Center and Climate Center are joining colleagues from other Wolseley UK brands in a team of 13 tackling the annual canoe and kayak race.

The Yukon River Quest, the world’s longest race of its kind, begins on June 29 in the Yukon Province of North West Canada. The 444 mile non-stop, five day race is guaranteed to test even the most seasoned of athletes.

The team, which was founded by Keith Dorling, the managing director of Wolseley UK’s infrastructure division and a keen indoor rower, are aiming to raise £100,000 for Cancer Research UK and complete the race in just 50 hours.
