CoolKit completes awards hat-trick

CoolKit sales director Cameron Javed receives the TCS&D award from Michael Kane of sponsor Seven Telematics (left) and comedian Ian Irving

UK: Burnley-based refrigerated van company CoolKit is celebrating a hat-trick of awards this month.

Two days after winning the Refrigerated Panel Van of the Year at the TCS&D Awards on September 13, CoolKit picked up two more trophies at Lancashire’s Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBA).

The TCS&D Awards, presented at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, recognise companies and individuals who have made a difference in the temperature controlled storage and distribution industry. The BIBA awards for Manufacturing Business of the Year and overall Business of the Year categories were presented at a special event at Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom.

CoolKit managing director Rupert Gatty, attended both events and dedicated the awards to CoolKit’s customers and the company’s dedicated workforce.

“It is a privilege to have won these award – it signifies real recognition within the refrigerated transport industry for our product and most of all for our staff,” he said.

“It is extremely important to listen to our customers – as they are the ones using the fridge vans every day and relying on them to run their businesses. We believe it is important to concentrate on the little details that make a big difference in performance levels and durability, and this makes us stand out from the competition.”
