Daikin UK joins Carbon Trust supplier list

UK: Daikin UK is the latest to join theCarbon-Trust-directory small band of hvac companies to be accepted onto the Carbon Trust’s Accredited Supplier scheme.

The Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier scheme is designed to provide independent validation and recognition of energy efficient equipment and renewable technology suppliers’ skills and services. As part of the assessment process, the Carbon Trust takes into consideration feedback from client references regarding the suppliers’ performance.

Daikin UK joins a select number of 20 hvac suppliers which includes contractors, manufacturers and suppliers. Nottingham-based air conditioning and heat pump distributor Oceanair was one of the first to be included on a list which also features Emerson Climate Technologies and Flakt Woods as well as contractors Carillion, Harry Taylor of Ashton and the Cross Group.

“As a trusted quality standard, Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier status will not only help to set us apart in a fast growing market place, it also gives contractors and specifiers additional reassurance that hvac systems such as our VRV IV Heat Recovery solution are at the cutting edge of low carbon technological innovation and are proven to pay back quickly,” commented Daikin UK’s legislation specialist, Graham Wright.
