Deadline this week for ACR News Awards

ACr-Awards-logo-copyUK: Readers are reminded that the deadline for the ACR News Awards is Wednesday of this week.

The longest-established industry awards event, the organiser of the ACR News Awards is once again seeking to reward companies and individuals under a range of categories including best air conditioning product, best refrigeration product, top contractor and wholesaler/product distributor of the year. There will also be awards for the best initiatives in training, the environment and marketing.

“To win an Award at this event, even to be shortlisted, is to be noticed by key players across the sectors. This is the ultimate opportunity to celebrate and promote your products, shout about your achievements and highlight your initiatives to the people that really count,” said ACR News editor Lynn Sencicle.

Entry forms can be downloaded here.

The 2015 Awards will also repeat the success of last year’s inaugural Customer Service Award. This award is aimed specifically at ‘frontline’ staff – those people on the ground that deal with customers on site or on the telephone. Anyone working within the field of air conditioning and refrigeration is eligible, whether they are the accounts clerk, receptionist, apprentice, engineer or company owner.

Nominations and judging is open to the entire sector, with voting taking place online in December.

“Having inspired over 700 members of the industry to vote their chosen individual to victory in its launch year, I am pleased to announce that the award is here to stay,” said Lynn Sencicle.

To nominate an individual for the award, send an email to lsencicle@datateam.co.uk by the end of this month stating the name of nominee, the company they work for, contact (telephone and/or email) of nominee and explain in a maximum of 600 words why the nominee deserves the award.

The ACR News Awards 2015 presentation evening will take place at the Brewery in London’s Chiswell Street on February 25, 2015.
