Developing BMS sales for RDM

Graeme Ross
Graeme Ross

UK: Resource Data Management, the controls and remote monitoring specialist, has appointed Graeme Ross as BMS development manager.

Graeme was previously operations manager at Schneider UK. The announcement follows other recent key appointments by RDM this year, including that of new group sales director Enrico Mirandola, formerly managing director at Carel UK.

Andrew Chandler, RDM’s founder and managing director, has led the company through a period of significant growth in recent years. In 2008 the company acquired Taiwan manufacturer FYC and Indian software company Resorsys in 2009. The acquisitions were followed by the opening of offices in Asia and the US.

While the company’s core refrigeration market remains a top priority, the appointment of Graeme Ross is designed to support RDM’s continued growth into the BMS market, identified as a key strategic opportunity for the company.

Graeme is a multi-disciplined manager with a wealth of experience in various senior roles. At Schneider Electric he managed a team of project managers working on flagship projects, including the Commonwealth Games 2014. He brings with him vast experience in integrated systems sales for building management, energy and lighting control.

Mr Ross said: “The timing of my appointment is particularly exciting as it comes just ahead of the launch of RDM’s new energy dashboard software, Kwheb, which will further enhance the end-to-end solutions we can tailor-make for each client.’’

Announcing the new structure, Enrico Mirandola said: “This latest appointment further deepens and strengthens the capabilities of our sales team, and will enable us to make a major impact on the BMS marketplace. RDM’s BMS Division will pursue new international opportunities in line with our aggressive growth plans, leveraging our competitive and powerful range of solutions.’’
