DiversiTech buys clip company RPC

UK: US HVACR parts and accessories manufacturer DiversiTech has purchased UK company Rapid Positioning Clips (RPC).

The Hampshire-based company manufactures a range of clips for air conditioning and refrigeration pipework, electrical wires and cables. Formed in 1999, Rapid Positioning Clips was formerly owned and run by Adrian Warrener who sadly passed away last year.

The acquisition solidifies a long relationship between RPC and Pump House, DiversiTech’s UK subsidiary. Nottingham-based Pump House has been a customer of RPC for several years, selling more than 1,500 products to national and independent distributors, wholesalers and OEMs.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to take on RPC’s product lines and make them immediately more available to contractors and distributors by capitalising on our global distribution and logistical expertise,” said DiversiTech CEO, Jim Prescott.

DiversiTech says that customers can continue to order product and conduct business with RPC as they currently do during the integration period, which is expected to be completed soon.

The acquisition of RPC is DiversiTech’s seventh in the past 18 months and continues the expansion of the company’s product portfolio. It currently offers more than 17,000 product items in over 200 product categories.
