Electrolux lands Costa refrigeration contract

UK: Electrolux Professional has won a tender with Costa Coffee for the global provision of its cabinet refrigeration equipment.
The three-year contract will see Electrolux provide the refrigeration solutions to as many as 3,000+ outlets – over 50% of which are in the UK.
The agreement will see Electrolux provide a range of refrigeration solutions following a development process which led to doors and handles being adapted to meet the design specification and requirements of each individual outlet.
Admitting to being thrilled at having secured a partnership with one of the UK’s most well-known high street brands, Laura Abbott, Electrolux Professional’s business development manager for the UK & Ireland commented: “Our refrigeration equipment is typical of our forward-thinking approach to product development, with a number of innovative features coming together to offer a market-leading solution.
“The benefit of us manufacturing the products we supply is that we can tailor them to the specific needs of multi-site operators. This is something we expect to complement Costa’s business model exceptionally well in the future.”
