Entries open for Trainee of the Year

UK: The organiser of the ACR Trainee of the Year Awards has announced an earlier deadline for its 2017 event to give the judges more time to scrutinise the entries.

The awards, which culminate in the annual awards ceremony at the Belfry in December, now have a deadline of July 31. Entries are now open via the Trainee of the Year website.

Juliet Loiselle, publisher of the ACR Journal and Heat Pumps Today, said: “We hear so often that apprentices should be encouraged and recognised. The ACR Trainee of the Year Awards were launched eight years ago to do just that and have been a huge advocate of young people ever since.

“With the fantastic support from our sponsors, the not-for-profit event invests in training companies and colleges to enable to them to provide the best skills to trainees and apprentices in the air conditioning and refrigeration sector.’’

The awards lunch will be held at The Belfry, near Birmingham on Thursday December 7.
