Fund set up to honour Steve Davies

UK: The family of Steve Davies, who passed away suddenly on January 12 at the age of just 65, are raising money to fund a defibrillator to honour his life.

Hugely popular throughout the UK air conditioning and refrigeration industry, Steve Davies was managing director of leading tools supplier Javac UK for 27 years until its acquisition by Aspen Pumps in 2017.

His family is now seeking to continue his charitable work by raising money to fund a defibrillator and a secure case for it to be held in, and placed within his local community.

His daughter Sarah said: “My Dad did so much for lots of charities, he spent his free time helping others. If we can just help one person and save one family from the devastation that we feel then it will be completely worth it.”

A crowdfunding page has been created here for those who would like to contribute.

A celebration of Steve Davies’ life will be held at Kirkleatham Crematorium in Yearby, N Yorkshire on Thursday, February 3 at 10.00.
