UK: Mansfield-based Gallant Air Conditioning has been appointed a Value Added Reseller of Mitsubishi Electric hvac equipment.

Gallant will offer the complete range of Mitsubishi Electric products including City Multi, Mr Slim and M-Series air conditioners, Lossnay ventilation, controls, heating products air handling units and chillers.

“This association will help us to increase the ways we reach the market to offer more customer choice,” explained Steve Fleming, Mitsubishi Electric’s general manager of sales.

“Scott Bithel and his team at Gallant have extensive experience of the hvac industry and have invested in training and state-of-the-art facilities. The company also shares many of the same beliefs that we as a manufacturer do, so we believe this can only be good for both our companies”.

Gallant Air Conditioning was formed in 2000 and also supplies Samsung air conditioning. The company joins a Mitsubishi sales network that includes wholesalers Air Creation, Dean & Wood and Kooltech and fellow resellers FSW, Logicool and PAC Air. It also sells a range of heat recovery ventilators, ahus and fans through its subsidiary company Gallant Ventilation, formed in 2013.

“The past 20 years has seen many technological and legislative changes to our industry, the next 20 years will see even more,” commented Gallant Group chairman, Ted Berry. “It’s therefore very important that we work with a company that not only embraces these changes but see them as an opportunity for all the sales channel including end users.”

With its headquarters in Mansfield, East Midlands, Gallant opened additional offices and warehouse in Strood, Kent, earlier this year.
