Greenwood merges with Zehnder

Zehnder logoUK: Greenwood Air Management has officially merged to become part of Zehnder Group UK Ltd.

The move is part of the Zehnder Group’s vision to provide customers with a single source supply of indoor climate solutions, including heating, cooling, ventilation and clean air systems.
Zehnder, which has it headquarters in Switzerland, acquired Greenwood in 2008.
Tony Twohig, who is already both managing director of Greenwood and Zehnder Group UK will head up the new unified company.
Commenting on the merged business, he said: “We have had the intention of bringing the companies together for some time.  With this change we are able to present ourselves as a single supplier of indoor climate solutions to a wide and diverse range of market sectors. Becoming part of the successful Zehnder brand will continue to benefit us as we grow and expand our business in the UK.”
As a long established brand name which dates back its ventilation origins to 1879, Greenwood will continue to operate as a division of Zehnder Group UK Ltd with dedicated sales and support teams working across the residential new build and refurbishment market sectors.
