Host of Fujitsu products at London show

UK: Air conditioning manufacturer Fujitsu is to use next year’s HVAC & Refrigeration Show as a showcase for a host of new products to be introduced this year.

Fujitsu also believes that the event’s move back to London will have a positive impact.

Formerly known as the ACR Show, the biennial event has been held at the NEC, Birmingham, since 2012. Renamed the HVAC & Refrigeration Show, the 2018 show takes place at Excel in London from January 23-25.

“We exhibited at the 2016 event because we had three mainstream products to launch,” said UK product manager Colin Goode. “With so many more new products scheduled to come through this year, committing to next year’s show was a bit of a no brainer. The move back to a London venue was also an added benefit, which we believe will attract higher visitor numbers.

Fujitsu’s opening of a new R&D facility in Thailand last year is said to have prompted an “avalanche” of new products.

“At the last count there were some 76 new products coming through,” said Colin Goode. “Not all of them will make it to the UK, but the ones that will make it are being prepped for launch over the coming months.”

The new 2017/18 Fujitsu catalogue, ready around May or June this year, will include many of the new products, most of which will be displayed at the 2018 show.
