HVACR Live postponed until next year

UK: HVACR Live, the UK’s only dedicated national event for air conditioning and refrigeration sectors, is the latest exhibition to succumb to the coronavirus.

The event, which was due to take place at London’s ExCeL centre from April 20-22, will now be rescheduled for next spring.

“This was a very difficult decision as HVACR Live was set to be a fantastic event and unlike anything we’ve done before,” explained event organiser Karena Cooper. “However, with a large percentage of international exhibitors now unable to attend, we cannot commit to running a show which is clearly reduced and will not meet customer satisfaction levels.”

The organiser, Datateam, said that since Brexit there had been “an outstanding number of global companies” signing up to take part in the show. However, it declined to reveal how many companies had booked stands at the event. The website was recently listing only 27 confirmed exhibitors.

The postponement, it said, would enable the event to serve and represent the industry more effectively in 2021.

“We are working with our partners to ensure that we bring a truly exciting HVACR Live event to the industry in 2021,” commented event director Paul Ryder.

The new dates will be announced shortly, the organiser said.
