Javac leads NACR&HP finalists

UK: Refrigerant recovery and vacuum products company Javac UK has had four different products shortlisted in the 2018 National ACR & Heat Pump Awards.

The Middlesbrough-based company’s service manifolds, Gas Mate leak detector, XTR-Pro-DV dual voltage and Altima A2L refrigerant recovery units have all been shortlisted in both the Refrigerant Product and ACR Ancillary Product categories.

Toshiba is another company featuring strongly. Its LD2 refrigerant protection and management system is a finalist in the ACR Ancillary Product category and the company’s involvement in a ground-breaking modular hotel construction project features amongst the ACR Project finalists.

However, Toshiba’s SHRM-e three-pipe heat recovery VRF air conditioner has stiff competition in the ACR Product category, where it finds itself up against finalists that include Samsung’s AR9500M wind-free, Daikin’s Sky Air A-series and the Mitsubishi M-series air conditioners.

The winners will be announced at the Titanic Hotel, Liverpool, on January 18.

The full shortlist of finalists and details of the awards evening can be found here.
