JD Cooling takes on more apprentices

UK: Refrigeration and air conditioning contractor JD Cooling Systems Ltd has started the new year by welcoming three new apprentices to the company.

Daniel Speed has joined JD Cooling’s Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) division in King’s Lynn where he will work alongside a team of lead engineers whilst receiving training.

Bradley Speed (Daniel’s younger brother) and Dexter-Jae Facey will be gaining first-hand practical experience within the company’s service and maintenance department before embarking on college in September 2017, as part of a four-year engineering apprenticeship programme at Grimsby Institute.

“Providing training and job opportunities locally is very much part of our commitment to investing in the future generation of aspiring engineers,” said JD Cooling Systems md John Dye. “We are looking forward to supporting, developing and working with Daniel, Bradley and Dexter and wish them every success on their JD Cooling journey.”

JD Cooling Group was established in 2000, with its hq in King’s Lynn and regional offices in Manchester and Kirkcaldy. It designs, installs and services specialist state-of-the-art cooling systems for food industry customers all over the world.
