Joshua Lincoln is ACR Trainee of the Year
11th December 2015UK: Joshua Lincoln of Adcock Refrigeration was crowned ACR Trainee of the Year in the annual award at the Belfry yesterday.
Joshua was chosen by the independent judges from six highly talented finalists for this year’s award. They were impressed by his keen interest, attitude and approach to his working career.
Trained by Channicool Training Services, he is described by his employers as one of the most skilled young engineers they’ve seen.
He wins a £1000 cheque from ACR Journal, and a host of prizes including around £1,000-worth of tools and a trip with Lu-Ve to Italy.
Highly commended were Peter Coupe of Preston-based DD Cooling and Christopher Lake of JD Cooling, King’s Lynn. Peter was trained at the Practical Refrigeration Training Centre and Christopher at Grimsby College. They each won a cheque for £500, tools and join winner Joshua on a trip with Lu-Ve to Italy.
The other finalists were Daniel Duckett of Acme Facilities Group and Liam Smith of East Lancs Refrigeration – both trained by Practical Refrigeration – and George Stevenson of Hull-based Airkool Contracts, who was trained by Chillair Training Academy.
