UK: Klima-Therm, the Wimbledon-based air conditioning specialist, has announced two new appointments to target strategic growth.

Craig MacFadyen has been appointed product manager for air handling units, with a brief to expand sales in the company’s air-side business. He has more than 30 years’ experience in AHUs, with service at leading UK manufacturers such as Fläkt Woods.

Klima-Therm has supply partnerships with some of the top European ahu manufacturers, including Rhoss, Saiver and Clima Tech.

Meanwhile, Evangelos Metaxas has been appointed regional sales manager in the South East. Formerly with Toshiba Carrier, he will focus on expanding Klima-Therm’s chiller sales via consultants, contractors and direct clients.

The range includes the award-winning high efficiency Rhoss EXP hybrid heat pump system and Turbomiser chillers.

Evangelos Metaxas said: “We see great potential for the latest HFO Turbomiser chillers, particularly in the light of the recent F-Gas revision – as people are now clear about the future phase-down of HFCs.

“We recently took orders for two large HFO Turbomiser units for a project on the South coast, and have a number of major projects in the pipeline.”
