Martin Krutz, new md of Daikin UK

UK: Martin Krutz has been appointed managing director of Daikin UK to replace Dirk Slagmulder, who is returning to Belgium.

The former md and board member at Daikin Central Europe, Martin Krutz has been with Daikin for the last 17 years.

Since 2013, he has been department manager EMEA business reform office at Daikin Europe. In that new role he made a substantial contribution to the company’s future strategy and alignment in the European, Middle East and African markets.

He joined Daikin in 1999 as general sales manager of Daikin Central Europe in Austria, before becoming sales director. In 2008, he was appointed md of Daikin Poland.

A former md of Daikin Airconditioning South Africa, Dirk Slagmulder was appointed Daikin UK md in 2014, in succession to Peter Verkempynck.
