Mitsi and Daikin head company survey

30635692_sUK: Not for the first time, Japanese air conditioning manufacturers Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin are neck and neck in the UK.

While the competition between the manufacturers is normally fought out over sales volumes, this time its to decide which company is the best to work for.

Recruitment consultancy Thornhvac’s Best Companies survey, which closes at the end of the year, currently has Mitsubishi Electric with 31% of the vote, just 3% ahead of Daikin. Airedale and Toshiba are joint third, each with 9%, with Trane and Carrier joint fourth.

Product quality, service and brand were the three factors valued most by employees at each of the leading air conditioning manufacturers according to the company’s research.

Other qualities specifically mentioned by individuals included good management structure and an ability to motivate teams and make each member of the workforce feel valued.

The survey is still open and can be found here
