Morrison sells SE distribution centre

UK: Wm Morrison has sold its South East Regional Distribution Centre at Sittingbourne, Kent, to real estate investment trust firm Tritax Big Box for £97.8m.

The distribution facility was developed in 2009 and comprises 919,443ft² of ambient goods and chilled food respectively.

The distribution centre is being acquired from Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc subject to a new leaseback agreement for 25 years and with annual rent reviews.
