Newman targets DX refrigeration

Newman-refrigeration-Engineer

Newman-logoUK: After many years of installing VRF air conditioning systems, Colchester-based Newman Refrigeration is looking to expand its commercial refrigeration business.

The company has now formed a dedicated sub-contract refrigeration department to specialise in the installation, service and maintenance of DX refrigeration systems for supermarkets, commercial and retail contractors in the East Anglia, Essex and North East London areas.

Newman’s senior project engineer Rob Newman, whose own background is in supermarket refrigeration, told the Cooling Post that the company was formed by refrigeration engineers with a passion for their industry.

“It’s just coincidence that since forming in 2011 our work has been mainly in the air conditioning sector but we now want to take on more commercial DX refrigeration work,” he said.

The company currently employs eight engineers and engineers’ mates, with the company covering London, Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

All engineers are fully qualified C&G and F-gas registered with significant experience in supermarket, food processing and light industrial sectors.
