Newman to leave Climate Centre

UK: Lee Jon Newman is to step down as managing director of Pipe Center and Climate Centre at the end of February.
He is to be replaced by Andy Wighton, who has been with the Wolseley Group since 2003 and is currently group commercial director. Prior to that, Andy was chief operating officer at Wolseley Canada, a $1.4bn turnover company.
Andy first joined Wolseley in 2003 and during his time with Wolseley UK was a member of the leadership team in his role as finance director.
He joins the business on January 19, enabling a handover period with Lee Jon Newman, who is leaving Wolseley UK at the end of February to take up a chief operating officer role in a different sector.
Commenting on his appointment, Andy said: “I’m delighted to be returning to Wolseley UK and am looking forward to progressing Pipe and Climate’s strategy. Our aim is to be the best business in the market and the distributor of choice by FY18 – and I will ensure Pipe and Climate Center continues on its growth trajectory.”
