Refcom advice on refrigerant recovery
17th June 2017UK: Refrigerant recovery is the focus of the latest technical bulletin from certification company Refcom.
The bulletin is designed to inform members of their responsibilities under EC517/2014 and importance of effective refrigerant recovery either during major service or at the end of the service life of a piece of equipment.
It also highlights the difference between reclaim and recycling and the effect that has on the recovered gas quality and any system it is subsequently used in. Impartial advise is offered on some of the pitfalls that can be avoided by employing careful planning and effective control measures.
