Seal of approval for Panasonic

Allergy-SealUK: Air conditioning manufacturer Panasonic has been recognised by the British Allergy Foundation for its Nanoe-G air purifying technology.

Allergy UK is the leading national charity dedicated to supporting allergy sufferers in the UK. One of its aims is to independently test products in order to offer advice on the best products for sufferers.

The Foundation’s Seal of Approval has been awarded to Panasonic after tests proved that the Nanoe-G could benefit sufferers of allergy, asthma, sensitivity and intolerance. As a result, the Nanoe-G is now listed on the Foundation’s website under air purifiers.

The Nanoe-G air purifying system is used in all Panasonic Etherea air conditioning units. Using nano-technology, fine e-ion particles are released by the air conditioning system, it is said to deactivate 99% of airborne bacteria and viruses in the filter’s indoor unit. It is said to work effectively on airborne and adhesive micro-organisms such as bacteria, viruses and mould, thus ensuring a cleaner, healthier environment. It also neutralises odours to provide a more pleasant and healthy environment.

“We are delighted to receive recognition from Allergy UK and to now be listed on the website” commented Marc Diaz, Panasonic’s UK country manager.
