Seminar focus on chilled water designs
18th January 2017
UK: Designing chilled water systems will be the focus of Daikin UK’s next series of Future Thinking seminars.
Ten venues have been selected across the UK for the CPD-accredited seminar series which run from February 1 to March 2.
Keynote guest speaker for the event will be Mike Creamer, a pioneer in energy saving air conditioning and refrigeration systems, and founder of Business Edge Ltd, a leading technology training provider and consultancy based in Portsmouth.
A winner of numerous awards, Mike’s long-standing quest is to reduce the vast amount of energy consumed by large comfort air conditioning, close control and refrigeration systems. He will focus on cooling capacity, power input and compressor efficiency, verifying air and water flow rates and how to evaluate energy performance by using the system efficiency index (SEI).
Aiming to inform and provoke discussion around achieving a sustainable indoor climate, the latest series will consider chilled water system selection, the latest advances in inverter-controlled chillers and green building design credits for HVAC systems.
Looking to the future, the series will also discuss the evolution of system component technology and the value of connected solutions with regards to preventative maintenance.

8 February: London, Bloomsbury Hotel
9 February: Southampton, Hilton Hotel
