Singh and Wiszniewski elected to IoR board

UK: Paul Singh, owner of the ChillAir (UK) Training Academy and Damian Wiszniewski of Samsung have been elected to the Institute of Refrigeration board of trustees.

Their elections were announced at this afternoon’s IoR AGM to replace Lisa Jayne Cook and Juliet Loiselle who step down after completing their three-year term of office. Kevin Glass as past president also stepped down. The membership turnout was 27%.

The AGM also saw Mike Creamer formally handing over the role of president to Graeme Fox who was elected by the membership last year.

In addition to his training work, Paul Singh is probably best known for his long association with the Birmingham Society of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (BSRA), most recently serving as chairperson.

Damian Wiszniewski is business development manager at Samsung Climate Solutions UK. He has been actively involved with HVAC industry for the last 10 years. Wiszniewski became involved with the Hampshire Refrigeration Society in early 2018 and was elected vice-chairman in 2020 and is also involved with the IOR South West Branch Steering Group Committee. He has served on the IOR membership committee since 2018 and became chairman in 2021.
