SIRACH to visit EBM-Papst

UK: SIRACH, the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps technology network, will be going behind the scenes at a leading EC fans and motor manufacturer for its next meeting.

The group has been offered access to the EBM-Papst facility in Chelmsford on June 14. 

The event will include presentations from EBM-Papst of energy reductions achieved using EC fans in a variety of applications. It will also include an overview of how eco-design standards and legislation is driving energy reduction in component and equipment design.

The visitors will also be introduced to a range of innovative high efficiency techniques and technologies to manage air flow in retail display cabinets.

A guided tour of the factory will include a look at the company’s CFD capabilities, environmental chambers and EMC test equipment for product validation.
