Sneyd named Hargreaves MD

UK: Former BESA president Andy Sneyd has been named MD of Hargreaves Ductwork.

Head of design at Crown House Technologies for nearly 10 years, Sneyd became BESA president in 2014-2015.

A chartered engineer and fellow of CIBSE, with over 25 years’ experience in the engineering, manufacturing and commercial sectors, Mr Sneyd joins the company from Portakabin Group, where he held the board position of design and engineering director for the last two years.

Describing Hargreaves Ductwork Ltd as one of the most specialised and experienced HVAC companies, Sneyd said: “I’m looking forward to working with all stakeholders including our valued staff and customers, alongside our parent company, M+W Group to maintain and grow our reputation as the leading bespoke HVAC, ventilation and containment solution provider.

“Hargreaves has a history of working on high profile nuclear projects across the UK as well as the Chernobyl New Safe Confinement project in Ukraine and I’m pleased to take this role in developing the business to deliver further successes in the years to come.”
