Space Engineering achieves safety hat-trick
UK: Bristol-based Space Engineering Services has completed a safety hat-trick with its third successive RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Gold Award.
Thrilled to be building on wins in 2014 and 2015, Space Engineering joint md Mark Woods said: “We are delighted to have been recognised again this year by receiving a RoSPA Gold Award. Our OHSAS 18001 accredited health and safety management systems, driven by our dedicated team of health and safety professionals, are fundamental to our work and our commitment to improving health and safety performance across our business.”
The RoSPA Awards is celebrating 60 years of presenting highly-regarded and sought after accolades to businesses and organisations that have shown commitment to accident and ill-health prevention.
Through the scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
“We take a proactive approach to health and safety management, and have implemented a number of safety campaigns and initiatives over the last 12 months to promote safer working practices. We’re thrilled our continuing efforts have been recognised,” Mark Woods added.
