Steve Hobbs: building a dedicated customer base and sales team in the north

UK: Steve Hobbs is to join Cold Store Rentals as a director on September 1 to grow sales in the north of England and Scotland.

He joins Cold Store Rentals with over 18 years’ experience in the cold storage rental business, working with specialists Viessmann, Blue Cube and Dawson Rentals.

From his base in Mansfield, Steve Hobbs commented: “There is a growing demand for cold stores throughout the UK and the company is receiving an increasing number of enquiries from the north of England and Scotland for rental, rent to buy and purchase options. I look forward to building a dedicated customer base and sales team in the north, and expanding as far as Scotland in the coming months.”

Cold Store Rentals was launched by Steve Prior towards the end of last year as a specialist food and hospitality refrigeration company, offering bespoke cold stores for rental, rent-to-buy, or purchase.

Steve Prior, who previously worked with Steve Hobbs at Viessmann, commented: “We are delighted to have someone of Steve’s experience join the company. After a great first year we are growing from strength to strength.”
